New CS2 Update: A Call to Arms
Valve has finally released the long-awaited update for CS2. In this article we'll cover the new content that comes with it.
Arms Race is Back!
The beloved game mode that had been a key part of CS:GOs casual repertoire is finally back. In Arms Race your gun changes everytime you get a kill until you reach the knife-stage. If you manage to get a final kill with your knife, which is insanely difficult, you'll win the entire game. You can even demote your opponents progress to the prior weapon by killing them with your knife or Zeus x27 before you are at the knife stage. So grab your guns and join the chaotic fun that is brought to you in Arms Race gamemode.
Custom Sticker Placement!
This will be a gamechanger for craft and sticker enthusiasts. Stickers are no longer restricted to preset positions anymore. You can place them wherever you want on your skin and even rotate them. This makes the possibilities for new crafts literally endless and sets the base for a whole new level of creativity. Also the limitation of total stickers that can be placed has been increased to 5 instead of 4. We are looking forward to the new crafts and we are excited to see what's possible. Let's get creative!
The Kilowatt Case!
The first weapon case in CS2 is part of this update! 17 new skins that are all designed by community artists. Additionally this case features the first Zeus x27 skin ever. Also the brand new Kukri Knife got added to the game.
Stickers and Music Kits!
Besides the Kilowatt Case, Valve also dropped a new Sticker Capsule called the "Ambush Sticker Capsule" that features 21 community created stickers. Furthermore the NIGHTMODE Music Kit Box that features six brand new Music Kits will be available for purchase.
