New CS2 Update is out!

Changes:

Here's a quick overview of the biggest changes in the latest Counter-Strike 2 update:

• Cache replaces Overpass in the Active Duty map pool.

• The C4 has been reworked, letting you see in advance how much damage the explosion will deal.

• Two new Armory skin collections have arrived: Spy Tech and Arabesque.

• Two new sticker collections have been added to the Armory: Auto Racing and Fruits and Veggies.

• Five new community maps have been introduced.

• The Train 2025, Sport & Field, Sugarface 2, and Elemental Craft collections have been removed from the Armory.

• A scoreboard-related bug affecting performance has been fixed.

• Counter-Strike 2 now runs on the latest version of the Source 2 engine.

New Bomb Mechanics:

The C4 explosion has been completely reworked. Instead of dealing damage in a simple radius, the blast now creates a shockwave that travels through the map. The explosion is blocked by walls and weakens around corners, meaning smart positioning can help you survive even if you're relatively close to the bomb. To make things even clearer, your health bar now shows a live preview of how much damage you'll take before the bomb explodes.

New Sticker Collections

The update also introduces two new sticker collections. Auto Racing takes inspiration from the colorful sponsor decals seen on race cars, while Fruits and Veggies brings a playful selection of produce-themed designs. Some standout stickers include Neo-Hold and Neo-Rush, inspired by the iconic Akira anime, Knife Streak, a clear nod to Fruit Ninja, and the eye-catching lenticular Pineapple on Pizza and Digital Dashboard stickers.
