Patch 7.31d has arrived!
Battle Reports
The updates name already hints at a very neat innovation called "Battle Reports". Dota Plus members are provided with a lot of in-depth stats for their last couple of weeks. This gives the players the opportunity to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses based on those stats. The report shows you your featured hero:
Your featured role:
Stats of your overall performance:
And some more in-depth stats:
Besides that, there are rotating highlighted game modes in which you can earn Dota Plus shards and the possibility to equip Immortal Spell Effects without wearing the actual Immortal Item itself. You are also able to record your highlights and export them as videos directly from your replays:
Dota Plus members are also able to buy additional slots for their avoid list with shards, seasonal Dota Plus sets can be bought directly in the shard shop, everyone can buy Relics now, there are new killstreak effects available for purchase and the Summer 2022 Seasonal Treasure got released:
This treasure contains skins for Arc Warden, Death Prophet, Ember Spirit, Juggernaut, Nyx Assassin, Ursa, Vengeful Spirit, Wraith King and a very rare courier.
Items
Here are the most important item changes:
Black King Bar
Cooldown increased from 75 to 90
This nerf is one of the most game changing in the whole patch. The meta has been dominated by core heroes buying bkb every game because it was considered a mandatory item. With this heavy nerf, this could result in a huge shift in the Dota 2 meta.
Wraith Pact
Model size increased by 50%
Attacks to destroy reduced from 5 to 4
Gold bounty increased from 20 to 100
When cast, it will automatically follow the caster
Wraith Pact was considered one of the most important items in patch 7.31c. This item also got nerfed pretty significantly, but almost all aspects of it, besides the damage reduction which remains untouched.
Heroes
Here are the most important and meta-changing hero changes for you:
Bristleback
Viscious Nasal Goo: Cast range increased from 600 to 650
Bristleback: Release threshold reduced from 210 damage to 200
This buff could bring back Bristleback into the meta. If that happens, heroes with a built in break-mechanic like Viper, Hoodwink and Shadow Demon are going to be picked more often again.
Chaos Knight
Chaos Bolt: Damage reduced from 90-180/110-220/130-260/150-300 to 60-120/90-180/120-240/150-300
Chaos Strike: Lifesteal reduced from 24/36/48/60% to 20/30/40/50%
Chaos Knight was one of - if not "the" - strongest carry heroes in the last patch, because his passives damage onto neutral creeps got doubled, resulting in him being one of the fastest farmers in the game. This is an effort to balance this hero, without removing him from the meta.
Phantom Lancer
Doppelgaenger: Cooldown reduced from 25/20/15/10s to 19/16/13/10s
Talents: Level 20 talent +5% Juxtapose damage increased to +8%
Doppelgaenger being the bread and butter of Phantom Lancers escape and survivability just got buffed heavily on the early levels. PL is considered weak in the early and mid game. This buff is going to help with his early struggles, making him a viable carry in the upcoming patch.
