Comparison

If you look closely at the stats above, you'll see that there's only a few differences. Damage-wise they are completely the same, which should be the most important factor. So what are the most important differences?

First of all, the silencer makes a huge difference. The silencer makes it much harder for the enemies to hear you shoot, especially at a long distance. It also provides more stability for the pistol, which results in much less recoil that needs to be compensated by the player.

In contrast to that, the USP-S has less bullets in the magazine and less bullets in reserve, which makes it much more punishing if you miss a shot or two.

Which one should I choose then?

It feels like the USP-S and P2000 are designed for different purposes and playstyles:

The USP-S is designed to abuse the lack of range of the Glock-18s of the enemy team in pistol rounds and are best for holding angles and a patient playstyle.

The P2000 on the other hand is much more fitting for an engaging playstyle where you try to rush and overwhelm the enemy instead of patiently holding an angle. Therefore the P2000 is better in high-action mid and close range fights than the USP-S.

Both options are definitely viable, but the USP-S is preferred by the larger part of the CS community due to its attributes fitting the spirit of the CT side a bit better. But if you consider yourself a really active player even on CT sides, then you should definitely check out the P2000. In the end it all comes down to personal preference, so why don't you test both options and see which one fits your personal playstyle the best?

And whatever you choose in the end, you can find the right skin for your choice right here, whether it's the USP-S or P2000.
