What is a Blue Gem Karambit?

Simply put, all the Case Hardened skins, including the Karambit, showcase two main colors on both its play side and back side—gold and blue. A skin with mostly blue on the visible side is called a ‘Blue Gem.’ On the other hand, if the play side is primarily gold, it's known as a ‘Gold Gem,’ though these are far less valuable than the Blue Gem.

What Types of Karambit Blue Gems are there?

There are 4 different tiers of Blue Gem Karambits, with tier 1 being the priciest of them with the most amount of blue on its playside. As you move down the rankings, the amount of blue decreases and so does the price. Here's an overview of all the pattern seeds of every Blue Gem tier:

How much does a Karambit Blue Gem cost?

Given the Blue Gem’s extreme rarity, it’s no surprise that the most expensive skin in CS2 to date is a Karambit Blue Gem. The current #1 Karambit Blue Gem, owned by Chinese collector ‘青い王,’ is estimated to be worth over $1.5 million USD. Previously, the owner turned down an offer of $1.2 million, stating that “1.2 is low.” With CS2’s player base continuing to grow, the value of this skin is only expected to rise over time.

But even tier 4 Blue Gems, the 'worst' tier, come with an estimated price range of between $2,000 and $5,000 USD.

Where can I buy the Karambit Blue Gem?

As the Blue Gem is one of the rarest skins in the entire game, you usually won't be able to find it on common marketplaces or even the steam market. With the pricerange stated above, most of us also don't have the budget to buy any of the Blue Gem Karambits. But don't worry, the Karambit Case Hardened is always a very cool skin, even without the Blue Gem Pattern. You can find a ton of offers for Karambits Case Hardened over here:
